How to remove banners in Joomla!

The banners shown in the bottom of Joomla! can be removed.

You can follow any one of the method given below.

Method 1:

1. In the backend, goto Extensions -> Module Manager
2. Find the “Banners” module and disable it.

Go to front and refresh the page. You can see the changes.

Method 2:

1. In the backend, goto Components -> Banner
2. In the Banner Module Manager, Unpublish “Joomla! Promo Shop” and “Joomla! Pro Books”

Go to front and refresh the page. You can see the changes.

To hide the menu title in Joomla!

Try the following steps:

1. Go to backend as admin. Select “Extensions” -> “Module Manager”.
2. Edit the menu  (main menu, resources, key concepts, etc)
3. In the new window change “Show title” option to “NO”.
Go to front end and see the changes.
