A temporary price drop can breathe new life into the sales of your apps. Temporary   price   drops can create traffic to your site. But you have to carefully plan your price drop and publicize it through your product web site.

Make sure that you do the following three steps when planning your temporary price drop:-

  • Clearly state the promotion on your site and on the App Store.
  • Include a time frame (offer lasts till XX date).
  • Provide a clear “call to action” (“Buy Today to Receive Your App Discount!”).

You   can   do   a   temporary   price   drop   during  a particular festival or once in three months,   depending   on   th e   type   of app you are selling.  But don’t do too frequently, then the   buyers will  simply wait for the next “sale” to  buy the app.
